I can't find the original thread . . . so I'm opening a new one and this time with a POLL so we can get a general consensus. Was there a rematch clause in the original fight contract between JMM and Pacquaio ? Was there a $1.3 Mil provision for JMM? I only want an honest vote plz. :yep :good You are allowed to pick more than one choice.:hey
There is no evidence there was a clause that I can find. If anything, it is quite strange that if there was one, that it is never mentioned in all the other articles where JMM's management admits to turning down the fight because they felt the offer was insulting. Seems it would be mentioned along side it. I don't know that Black is lying, because there is alot of misinformation out there, and it's possible he read it even though it may not be true.
I know for a fact that there's no rematch clause from the first fight friend. A talk of an immediate rematch only surfaced after the first fight came out as a controversial draw. If you have a copy of the original fight . . . watch the post interview of both fighters and it should give you a clear idea. And besides all press releases and talks regarding the first fight are all perfectly preserved in JMM's and Pac websites and there's no mention of any rematch clause much more of a $1.3. provision for JMM. Anyway . . .I posted this to get other's opinions. :yep Shieeet. I forgot to make this a public poll.
. . . nopes I'm not trying to argue and disprove what you have said. I'm just explaining my side. You see. . . this guy . . . my ***** black repeatedly denies the bullshits that come out of his mouth and turns to trash talk everytime he gets confronted with it. :yep . . . the same guy that said Finito Lopez would end Pacs career. :hey . . . the same same guy who claims he saw Valero worked out in U.S. and work on a secret style that he knows he will outbox Pacquaio . . . guess what? Valero's last U.S. training was in 2003. :rofl . . . the same guy who said Mosley will make Cotto look like a fool before he takes him out. Then later on claims he didn't say Cotto is going down. :nut :good
I haven't heard before of this "scoop". The thing is, JMM refused the immediate rematch. That was very clear. We can all give all the reasons, but the bottomline was, he and his team were not interested to have an immediate potential career-ending fight.
