My source is a lot more reliable than your non-existent list. Forbes list should be coming out soon, we'll see what they say. Fact is, Floyd made $20 mill + against Hoya. Hoya was guarenteed $23 mill for that fight and ended up hauling in almost $50 mill. Now in the Hatton fight, the gate was about $6 mill less, and the it did about 35% of the buys of the Hoya fight. However, Ricky was only guarenteed $6 mill for the fight, a little more than a 4th of what Hoya was guarenteed. With all this being said, it's more than reasonable to believe that Floyd pulled in $2o mill plus for that fight.

As far as the fake money incident, when you have alot of cash **** like that can happen. Someone in his innercircle probably slipped out some real cash and replaced it with fake money. The guy throws around real money all the time. There's no reason for him to start throwing around Monopoly money.

Who knows. He had another potential $20 mill + payday setup and he walked away. Maybe he simply lost the passion to fight and didn't want to train. Maybe injuries caught up to him. No one really knows except Floyd and his inner circle.

That fake money story is bull**** if he did that the secret service would be all over his ass for counterfieting. The Feds don't play around with that stuff.

EVERYTHING HAS BEEN INTERESTING..IT WAS INTERESTING TO SEE IF MOSLEY COULD STILL DOMINATE AT 147 WHEN HE CAME BACK FOR HIS FIRST FIGHT THERE AT 147--IT WAS INTERESTING WHEN UNDEFEATED WILLIAMS FOUGHT A MARGARITO WHO HADNT BEEN BEAT IN YEARS...OR WHEN COTTO KOD JUDAH AND BEAT MOSLEY..ITS ALL BEEN INTERESTING SINCE 2006 LIKE I SAID

Very true, I never thought about that. It probably is a bull**** story. Just like the story of church boy Edner Cherry knocking him out at a night club.

Whatever you say, I hope he tells the truth on why he left the sport for good instead of that stupid " I wont let boxing retire me I am gonna retire from boxing" BS he pulled with the post interview with Larry. You believe what you want to believe I will believe what I want to believe. :good

All of that BS was posted on mediatakeout one of the most unreliable sites on the net. I go there for comedy relief.

Yes interesting but sadly without Mayweather now we wont see him show his true greatness. I have been watching boxing for eight years but not watching every fight on HBO type thing. I was on and off for those eight years but recently I got back into it. Boxing and basketball is were its at for me.

What's wrong with that? There are plenty of boxers out there that claim they want to retire be age 30, with all their mental facaulties. Only Floyd knows why he really retired. However, I see nothing wrong with going out on your own terms.

Remember guys, "we aren't fighting to prove who the best is"

His joyboy fanclub has been conditioned to only focus on him driving bentleys and living in mansions while they dish out 50 dollars per PPSHITVIEW he is involved in. When it comes to supporting Floyd Mayweather, quality doesn't matter.

Nothing wrong with retiring on your own terms but when his fans act like he is unbeatable it gets comical at times. Like you said only he knows the truth. I just would like to see him unify the division before we he acts like he is better than Ali.
