No fighter is unbeatable. However, Floyd is a very difficult guy to beat. Floyd is certainly an arrogant person. However, that's part of his appeal. It keeps people interested in him(whether in a good or a bad way).
True, but dont you have a feeling that he wanted to keep his "0" and thats why he retired because he knew that Margarito, Cotto, and Williams were looming around the corner???
Im still one of those that believe mayweather would be back... many say the retirement is serious because of the amount he would have gotten against DLH... but as for the division being hot now, last time I knew this division has been real hot for a while, things just got a bit more interesting now:yep
That's a definate possibility. I think Floyd doesn't want to lose that "0" under any circumstances. However, he had a fight lined up. Had he beat Hoya and then retired, you could reasonably argue that he retired because only risky fights were left out there for him. However, that didn't happen. The Hoya fight was signed, and he walked away; leaving an 8 figure payday on the table. This is after he begged for a rematch. I think it's reasonable to believe that something else factored into his retirement.
With that said, your name serve u correct :yep Only an idiot and hater would say the division just got hot after Mayweather retired. Like u said, it been hot, and I also believe Mayweather will be back for one more big fight :yep
Could be and I hope he makes a "final" verdict. Either you will fight again or you wont fight again. My dad said it got f*cking annoying when Leonard did that sh*t.
Margarito showed he is the real deal with his big win. Cotto is still an elite welterweight. Also Williams showed he has the goods by beating Margarito and Berto showed he can be a champion. Like I said things got a lot hotter sinced Floyd retired.
Margarito fights who ever they put in front of him like Cotto. Cant say the same thing about Mayweather. Also when did Margarito choose Gomez over Mayweather. I heard Mayweather said no so Margarito faced Gomez instead.
Well I agree it got a lil more interesting, but it's been the hottest division in boxing for 2 or 3 years now. I hope it gets even better, us boxing fans deserves that :good
