These are all really good points tbh. I actually missed guys like Akinwande and Ibragimov. Best post i've seen so far in my opinion.

Na obviously I'm trolling with Wilder.

If you are considering every title holder in history.

    It's quite clearly Bentt.

Shoutouts to Damiani, Akinwande, Hide, Maskaev, Sanders, Rahman, Douglas.

Buster Douglas at his best was an awesome fighter. He belongs nowhere near this list.

It's funny how many people just read the title, ignore the OP and post.

Actual champion; Primo Carnera. There are reports his opponent threw the fight for the Italian mob, that backed Primo.
Beltholder: Probably someone like Bentt, Martin, Page or Stiverne. Getting the belt due to luck or fighting a weak opponent for a vacant one, and being to weak to have any hint of a chance on their first defence.

Edit: Oh, so not the actual weakest then... not the really bad ones, but the ones that were at least good enough to defend once or twice. Not the worst ones, but the tier above them.
    Weird thread

At his best, yes. He could fight an awesome fight. He proved that in beating Tyson. I've already said that.

As a champion though, his first and only defence was lacking to say the least.

The thread is about who you consider to be one of the worst "champions", not the worst fighter.

Busters laziness, and lack of commitment in fighting Holyfield compared to fighting Tyson is like night and day.

For the short time he had the belt he was a poor champion because of that IMO
