Yeah, and for Floyd to "cement" his already ATG-status, he has to beat Miguel Cotto.

You PBF ****'s are SAD as hell:good All the greats fought and beat the best and Floyd is governed by the same laws of physics:yep You cant have you're cake and eat it too, eventually you must leap the same or larger hurdles and go farther, if you want to BE THE BEST.

It is undisputable that there are two undefeated titlelists who are worthy challengers. Yet, you get pissy because Cotto has fought better opposition at 147 and its somehow a joke?:rofl :rofl

STFU!! You're OUTTA YA DAMN MINDS!! Floyd has never beaten all the top challengers in any one Division and WW is legendary with Champions who did fight and beat the best, DOMINATING THE DIVISION.

Cotto and Winner of Williams vs Quintana are the top two opponents and Cotto beat SSM not DLH and SSM was the better of the two. I hope Cotto vs DLH happens while Floyd's on vacation, then Cotto can say he beat BOTH.

Just like always Floyd dont wanna take no risks and is talking retirement. I'm not so sure he comes to his senses. I believe it hinges on Williams. If Williams wins? Floyd stays retired!!
If Williams loses? Cotto might get his shot because Floyd will view it as one and done instead of a 6'2" shadow looming behind him.

39 fights in MORE THAN A DECADE aint exactly record breaking:nono Floyd is undefeated and has positioned himself to challenge amongst the AT best. Which makes walking out on such opportunity all the more puzzling or SAD:good

:deal They were all younger than SSM, IMHO a peak SSM would have done a real number on Cotto.

Cotto has better skills than I thought, he surprised me twice against Mosely and Judah. This kid is special.

It doesn't prove anything. The money in boxing has been at Welterweight since the nineties. It took Floyd forever to get there, that's all. It's not like the division has been hiding from him.

Also, let's look at a superstar's resume at welterweighrt. Getting there and winning a championship don't mean ****. De la hoya entered and fought the best of the bunch, Whitaker, then had to take on Quartey, and then Carr. Three amazing fighters before he fought Trinidad and cemented himself in the division. Floyd just had to prove himself in the division like everyone else. Being a champ at 140 doesn't mean anything when you reach 147. Floyd moves up and down and so he is not really any division at the moment.

Exactly!! There are plenty good fighters left, and if they mix it up w/eachother it'll be awesome. As of right now we really don't know who is the best w/out Mayweather there, but time will tell!!

An old Mosley wipes the floor with all of them. He got the better of DLH twice already. :deal

Cotto isn't on the verge of greatness, he has the potential to be great but hes not near there yet.

PBF is the man. Shown to have good power against competition his own size, can outslick/out smart guys way too big for him. Amazing speed and spectacular accuracy. Change to any number of gameplans, and makes most of todays best fighters look pretty much stupid when he brings it. No level of high stage gets to him. Complete package and I'm damn glad to be a fan during his era.
