If you were a Welterweight & your opponent was a Lt. HW wt.? Both of you are physically fit & both have prior boxing experience. No holds barred.

    Would you do it???:huh

I'm not talking about a pro fight. I mean maybe you & a friend decide to go at it, with gloves, of course. And yeah, you know the guy has a big punch. But then again, so do you, the smaller man. Would you do it?

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Well I'm only 15 and only about 5'6 and would fight at somewhere around superbantam, and I spar a lot with a friend who's like a welterweight so I spose I would. I don't have a problem fighting bigger people.

If it was a pro fight however I'd run a mile lol. :D

well if its no rules then i'd fite them. cuz it means no gloves and most likely the first to land is the one who wins. because i am the lighter guy i may have the speed advantage.

so step one - run in jab to the head and rip into the body, follow with uppercut. the rest is history

No, not unless we are worlds apart in experience and talent. You don't learn anything getting your ass beat by a much heavier guy

The only way this could be beneficial is if the big guy is inexperienced. The smaller skilled man has to deal with the physical strength, but the bigger guy is likely confused by the speed and skill of the lighter man which makes for an interesting and fair contest
