Thinking to myself about the Klitschko vs Briggs fight and the recent Wladimir vs Sam Peter fight, who both brothers had already beaten.

Should we not be giving these two a bit more stick as they don't seem to be extending themselves where their fights are concerned?

It just got me thinking because I AM a David Haye fan but he went down slightly in my estimation and a few others on here due to seemingly pricing himself out of a meeting with the brothers and he's been suitably arse-kicked over it, even more so since the Fraudley fight was confirmed.

But, ultimately in terms of opponents being signed, are the Klits any better?

They need to fight better guys. I wish people would cut out the rubbish about ''its a bad era, theres no one to fight''. Vitali could be fighting Valuev on Saturday instead of Briggs if they did not demend such high money.

  3. The Klitschko's have constantly put away elite HW's in their prime who are undefeated or only have 1 defeat, Haye has never done this at HW yet.

Vitali deserves stick for the **** he has been fighting no question. Wlad not so much.

Wlads opponents haven't been great, but both the lack of depth in the division along with the better fighters(Boytsov/Povetkin/Haye/Adamek/Solis) showing no ambition to fight him has contributed to what looks like a pretty unspectacular resume.

A lot of the opponents have been poor, but that's what's out there. Say what you like, they've ducked nobody who's been at least a little deserving.

They do what they need to do, the win, they make a lot of money.

Valuev and Bonin only had one defeat. Valuev was a top five HW at the time. The fact that someone as average as Eddie Chambers is considered "elite" says an awful lot about the division. Also, let's bear in mind Haye's only had 25 fights. Wlad's had 58!

Did Valuev just get out of hospital for a serious injury?

Exactly! I don't think it would be pretty but Valuev is there around the top 5 or 6 and they haven't met in the past.

The Klitscko are fighting crap guys but they have gone out of there way to fight Haye, Povetkin and Solis and they all turned the fight down. Whats can they do.

Well, ya he did, serious shoulder injury, he will be out for at least 6 months.

And I think Valuev the one who was pricing himself out of the fight before.

Povetkin and Solis are distinctly average. But maybe if they'd agree to haye's terms they'd have had the fight. What's good for the goose, Rob.

Where's this myth coming from that they don't face the best?

David Haye at HW on the other hand.

They face the best out there - but that's not saying much. That's most people's view. I quite like the brothers - they seem like nice guys and their attitude is good. Except for the business practices, but they get punched in the head for a living. I don't blame them for looking after their own interests.
