Questioning Bute`s opposition level in a tune-up despite top 15 ranking ...

I saw this man in high regard and didn't understand why did Leonard Dorin criticized him as a coach. Dorin was saying about the first Raul Balby fight after the first couple of round I wasn't satisfied I was telling the corner that my punches weren't going in and I was to rigid.
I believe that they made a plan in the Spadafora or Balbi fight (don't remember well witch one Dorin was talking about) on waiting for a wide hook from his opponent to counter it, and he was saying that he waited until the 4th or 5th round and that punch he was waiting for was never coming and he was getting hammered when he decided to give up on that plan and start trowing more punches.
I know that the one who has more of the blame for the way things went is Bute himself but I wonder if Larouche got it wrong to, and if he can lift Bute lvl up again or another coach with another approach would be better.

 

I remember there were talks for the winner of the Spadafore vs Dorin unification bout to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. back then, it was rumored that he was asking 3 mil $ to fight one of these guys. I would have loved to see Mayweather against someone like Dorin.

 

Was my initial reaction, Pavlik is going to get brutalized by Froch (Taylor put a prime Pavlik down but didnt finish him, not a problem with Froch) I would have preferred Froch-Bika if anything

Bute could have fought Adonis Stevenson, Anthony Dirrell, St renan juste etc. but considering hes coming off a big KO loss he needs a tune up and he hasnt exactly picked a bum coming off multiple losses, no problem with his opposition.
