Everyone says styles makes fights. Is it really that serious? I believe all fighters are just one big punch away from getting knocked out,(Ala Jones/Tarver 1). Can you really judge Floyds opposition or does he make most of these good fighters really look bad. I'd have to say he does. Are any of these guys really bums? Be serious.

Alot of these fighters don't really look that bad against Floyd. He wins but he wins alot of close fights. Jones was knocking people out left right and center. It wasn't even close.

Styles make fights, but application of the style is often overlooked.

Certain styles may trump other styles in general, but when one fighter is a master of one style, sometimes even the fighters who employ styles that should give him trouble simply cannot apply their style well enough to defeat them.

You can break down and tear apart any fighters level of opposition. Calzaghe, Cotto, Hatton, Floyd, BHop, Winky, Pacman, JMM, anyone!

I've done it (especially with Pac) but it's just ignorant to do it. Hatton was a top-10 P4P fighter and Floyd knocked him out and within weeks people are already calling Hatton garbage. It's almost comical because everyone said the haters would say he was garbage.

When it comes down to it, Floyd has faced equal if not better opposition to all of them. Prime Corrales, Castillo, C. Hernandez, G. Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Manfredy. 20 World title fights. Yet he fought only bums. He's fought more than 1/2 his career in World Title fights.

Floyd won't get KO'ed like RJJ because of his defense and vision, but i can see him losing a decision. He's too hard to hit clean.

None of them look good, most of them look bad against Floyd.

People just look bad against Floyd. DLH looked great with Mayorga and then looked bad one year later. Mayorga is a heavy hitter. Hatton looked great against Castillo but then look what happened. Floyd isn't the best puncher but when he punches it is accurate and even if you are a DLH with a left hand that can punch a hole in a pick up truck; you can't find the little *******! It's almost like the little **** has a suit of armor.

Prime for prime and P4P, RJJ is light years better as an all around fighter and would defeat far more people H2H in his weight range that were significant than Floyd would.

I can name 3 fighters that I'd favour over Jones historically from 160-175.

I can name about about 15 over Floyd from 130-147.
