marquez being the one who really needs the fight and better payday,he should agree to pacs demands.

having the same as the floyd fight in money should be agreable.

the weight issue,if its non title pac should be about 146,let marquez have to be over 140,probably 145. Pac 147 fight night, maquez 145 fight night.

the skills not the weight should settle it,if marquez thinks hes that much better than pac why moan about pac weighing a lil bit more than him and himself putting on only a few more pounds.

Mayweather is he ONLY fighter Pacquiao needs to fight before retiring. But as long as Void does not have the "URGE", he'll fight somebody until GOD KNOWS Mayweather will come out from his momma's panties.

IMO, Juan is the best option rather than Mosley/Berto/"Katsidis"lol. Pac needs to finish the war, even though the battle is won....

I want the fight at 140, but the problem with catchweights in Pacquiao's case is, he makes bigger opponents go down even more weight which will weaken them and affect their stamina. Now that he's the bigger guy, he doesn't want to go down and appease Marquez and leave him at a disadvantage

There's no disadvantage here. they can fight at any weight lower than 147. Remember, they enter the ring at fight nights at 144-148. So 140/147 should be OK with them. No weight-drained excuses, and they can train their ass without losing their weight.

There are no records of their fight night weight so don't come in here with your numbers that you found in pacland.

Financially this fight wouldn't do as well as JMM or Mosley, but it would be really interesting. It could appeal to Pac because its the chance to land another WW title. With Berto its a young prime fighter, who has great power and good speed. Would be a good match-up

There's been no proof, or even reason to believe anyone was weakened fighting Pac, other then DLH, and that was because of his own stupidity...:patsch

Im all for Catchweights, just not for a belt. I would rather see marquez/pacquiao at 142 then at 147.

That would not affect how Marquez needs to weigh.
If the limit is 147, he can come in 146, 142, 95, etc. For Marquez 147 vs 142 makes absolutely no difference since he is naturally 135-144.

It will matter only to Pac since he is around 145-148 naturally. He will need to boil down a bit.

Meaning anything lower than ~146, Pac is the one that needs to make an effort to reach the weight.

It is pretty funny because Pac was draining a bit to make anything below 135 (JMM vs Pac I was 126). Now JMM wants Pac drained a bit for the third fight.

Pac is probably willing to go to 140. Roach and Arum will probably want it at 147.

Since Pac is the man, JMM does not have much leverage.

Even if he were to fight and beat Floyd, they will say that Floyd was distracted with all that was going on.
