Fedor is a huge National star over in Russia right? He just signed with a Russia based company correct? UFC Management said that all the "unreasonable" demands and friction came from Fedors Management right? Almost like they weren't dealing with Fedor at all, but his managment?

So currently Fedor is a symbol for Russia. Russia has the "best fighter in the world", not the US. Before I accuse anyone of foul play, I am just proposing explanations and I apologize if I offend anybody. Is it possible that Fedors management got pressure from the Russian gov't not to sign with the UFC? You would have to be naive to think that this sort of stuff doesn't go on in the world, and this is a situation where it could. You have a huge National Icon and then you have the threat of losing him to another country. If Fedor signs, he is no longer a Russian star....everyone is going to know him as a UFC fighter, which is an American company and most fights are in America, taxed by America.

I don't know anything about his management or relationship with gov't officials, but I have seen him in photos with prominent Russian politicians. It's something that has to be considered before everyone starts calling the guy a coward and a fraud I think :deal

Fedors management basically want to run MMA in Russia.
Dana said that they wanted to co-run shows with the UFC and crazy stuff like that.

Fedor is a nothing but a pawn for Finkelstein to own MMA in Russia and make piles of cash.

First off, the company that has Fedor contracted was sold by Finkelstein to an undisclosed group of American investors. It was rumored to be Mark Cuban, no proof in that yet. Fedor's manager held on to his position as basically the Dana White of M-1, but now has millions in disposable US dollars (which spend very well in the Rodina).

As for Fedor, he is a high profile, wealthy individual in Russia. Money=corruption there, and no doubt Fedor in some way is connected to very illegitimate people. No that he himself is, but it's just the way business works. Finkelstein is close to Putin and his allies and we can only guess at what that entails. I would bet my life that Fedor isn't squeaky clean, his brother has the mark of the mafia all over him and that sort of thing tends to run in the family.

We could only guess, and what you said can easily be true.
