i think pbf is the best p4p fighter in the world, he cant be p4p number 1 and not be the best ww either.i see it like this and this should close the case.
shane margo cotto only want to fight the very best, they say pbf dont want the fight the best and thats fine.but cotto and margo and shane all want to fight the very best.and you ask them who they would want to fight the most you can bet ur ass the will say mayweather.and not for the money i may had because to them its not about the money (yeah right :-( ) but for the legacy and to see who is the best.

so thats why i say pbf is the best, because of his peers want to fight him more then anyone else and not for them money.they a only want the best and believe me when i say that mayweather is the very best and that they know and thats why they want to fight him nor for them money but because he is the best.

i hope i made s decent point, signing of take care and god bless:hi:

i cant believe floyd will fight DLH again

    what a waste of time

and DLH isnt helping his legacy with his "let me fight once a year and lose every other fight" schedule hes had the last few years

So who's number 1 lol! Cotto who just ran from Mosley for 12 rounds and beat up on a journeyman? Thats better then beating a lineal world titlist, the IBF world champ, an ATG and a p4p number 1 all in 2 years? ROFL. You Cotto ***s are a joke. Rematch Mosley then we'll talk about number 1.

Yeah thats the funny thing about PBF is that he is one of the biggest duckers of all time but his was also ducked by quite a few people at 140 lbs before he got his name.

No fan really likes the Business side of things. Fans can put up with guys that have the right mix between business and sport though. Unfortunently, Money may's never got that one quite right.

K this is what I don't like about most floyd fans... they always want to talk about titles and belts and don't like using their own rational abilities.

Yes, Carlos Baldomir was the linear champion....who cares? Was he the best in the division? Was he better then Quintana, or Mosely, or Margo? No, no, and no.

I actually disagree with the idea that Floyd isn't the top dog at Welter because I believe that their is more then just Resume that has to go into this distinction. And like it or not his resume is quite good. All be it not as complete as Cotto's would be if he can beat Margo. But boys you have to know names and titles are only as good as the guy's that hold them. And throwing down terms like ATG, ___ alphabet champ, and linear champ don't mean **** unless your willing to put some more thought into what your saying and go past the titles to the fighters themselves and the circumstances surrounding those fights. Just throwing out names and thinking that justifies what your saying is weak.

Void ran from Margarito and is not running from Cotto after losing to Oscar and Castillo in their first fight. Void needs to own the judges are ref and he used them.

If Mayweather actually wanted the Cotto fight over a DLH rematch, we'd probably have a DLH-Cotto match. Cotto's uncle said they'd prefer a DLH fight, DLH and Schaefer said they'd look at a Cotto fight if negotiations with Mayweather fell thru. Most importantly, it's hard to picture Bob Arum rather have Cotto fight Mayweather than DLH. De La Hoya provides more money, more exposure for Cotto, and Arum is on better terms with Golden Boy than he is with Mayweather.

That being said, I wish that Mayweather did want Cotto now.

Cotto-De La Hoya is much more interesting to me than a Mayweather-De La Hoya rematch.

Yea but realistic would also say that not only does Cotto fight DLH, but he also fights Margarito, Quintana, Judah, Mosely, etc.

You are acting like Mayweather earned this criticism from one fight. He's been doing this **** since lightweight.

I agree. Ricky hatton is another one who has taken advantage of the sport.
it's guys like these 2 and De La Hoya who are hurting the sport.

Bottom line . . . If PBF doesn't fight the number 2 man after fighting De La Hoya or until 09 . . . then definitely something must be done on these rankings.

It's a shame for the sports of boxing. :yep

I've already moved him down to #3. If you don't fight the best (and its been awhile) how can you be considered the best? I mean seriously, is there really any other way to look at it?

No question PBF is a great fighter. talent and skill wise can defeat any in his division but PBF has not willing to take that risk and that his down fall :? :tired
