... all known anabolic steroids are detectable in urine.

Its a long story but apparently 14 days wasnt ideal and the closer to the fight the better and less chance of benefitting from it!

You can take the test immediately after and not fail, according to the experts if you know when you are going to be tested (as you would after the fight) only the fighters who are lazy or make mistakes would get caught!

Also there was debates that he could be blood transfusing too which was another reason to test both blood and urine!

Are there (non-anabolic) steroids or other illegal performance enhancement drugs that would only be detectable in a blood test? (This must have been the reason why the Mayweather camp insisted on blood tests, because, and please correct me if this is not true, Pacquiao's camp agreed for urine tests to be taken at any time.)

The Clear, the cream, hgh, epo and blood transfusing are not detectable in urine! Hence why Shane Mosely was able to pass his drug tests!

Not taking sides just trying to give fair information.

All of these methods are apparently extensive used in althletics, and cycling and people assume that they are not happening in boxing!

So Pacquiao wouldn't have benefited much at all from taking illegal PEDs in the last 14 days but he would have benefited sufficiently to make a small but significant difference in the last 24 days AND he would have passed the test after the fight?

Mayweather Sr was the first person to throw accusations etc etc

but they were not the experts I was refering to!

Wada disagree with your thesis and so did Victor Conte as well as others, personally I dont know if he is using or not I am just giving the facts of the problem.

Apparently no if he only had 14 days of no testing then he wouldnt benefit as much as if he had 24 days of no testing! Mayweathers wanted to have testing much more like Tour de France, tennis, athletics etc

Even with the best testing in the world, the fighters with enough money to pay will be able to buy the yet-untraceable PED that will give them an edge, as far as I know. On the other hand, if any sport/business should have the strictest possible testing, by the highest possible standards, it should be boxing, because it's not just about winning, money and glory, it's very much about death and life... and the quality of life you have after retirement...

By the way I haven't even seen it confirmed anywhere that Pacquiao had agreed to random testing up to the 24 day cut off he wanted, if anyone has could they post a link?
