Have you ever tried the broccoli diet? Basically all you do is consume raw broccoli for each meal of your day. Obviously it would be stupid to drop your macronutrient intake so you need to make sure you're still getting around 2500 calories through your broccoli consumption.

I've been doing it for around 6 month now. It's the strongest & leanest I've ever been in my life. Give it a go :)

Why would it be? The health benefits from it are amazing. Give it a try yourself, I feel great.

Well "Basically all you do is consume raw broccoli for each meal of your day" is just dumb.

Really? So wheres your fats and protein coming from?

Just wait until you see how hard it is to do 10 reps with a normal shoulder-width overhand grip on a normal pull up bar before you start thinking about mixing it up.
Overhand grip pull ups take a bit of doing if you've new to it.It sounds like you've just started so concentrate on getting 10 quality reps in first.
I've been at it for years and if I can get 6x6 with a fairly wide grip I'm doing quite well.

Broccoli gets round about 22% of it's calories from protein. I do admit my fat intake is a little low and my carb intake a little too high but I'm a natural ectomorph so can get away with it.

To get your 2500 calories, you'd have to consume around 7.5kg of raw brocolli every day. For some reason I doubt you do that.

From what I've read it's around about 20-25% protein dense. I think it was precision nutrition I read that put it at 22%.

7.5kg may seem like a lot of raw broccoli but you have to remember this is all I eat, so it's actually a great deal of food.

I'd be willing to bet cold hard cash that you've never eaten 7.5kg of broccoli in one day. It weighs **** all, that's an insane amount. I reckon a big handful would weigh about 4oz, and that's what any normal human would have with their dinner, and you'd need 110 handfuls for 1 kilo. We're probably talking about 5 bucketfuls before you get close to 7.5 kg.

    You're talking bollocks.

I could never eat just brocoli. The times I do I eat it raw, but with either butter or cheese.

This link proves what I said above...

I've read articles on Precision Nutrition, very good site, but what you're saying is outright wrong as your own link proves. From your link - "91g brocolli = 3g protein". From the link I posted - "100g = 2.8g protein. Nowhere near 22%.

You'll have to provide a link to this 22-25% nonsense.

7.5kg of brocolli is an insane amount of brocolli, actually. No way I belive you eat that much even once a month let alone every single day.

I never said 100g of broccoli = 22g of protein, I said it gets around 22% of it's calories from protein which the chart shows.

Dude it's honestly not that hard. It may not be 7.5kg if I'm being 100% honest. I work my calories out weekly rather than daily. With 2 big cheat meals a week taking up around 4000 calories it leaves me with around 1750kcal to get in each day with broccoli. I don't understand how you can say it's not possible when I've been doing it every day for around 6 month.

Now we're getting somewhere. It's 7.5 pieces of broccoli, isn't it?
