roy never took a punch cos of his great reflexes

when they diminished he had no plan B

every great fighter has a plan B - every great fighter in history!

roy had no plan B. he is a glass jawed fraud.

You do sound like a hater and therefore you're original post loses a lot of meaning.

I do not have time for haters or fanboys.

Read my post dude, Ruiz hit Roy in the side of the face with a hard right hand in the very first round.

Being so much smaller, if his chin was as bad as you say, he would have not been able to take the punch... Did you even watch the fight?

Jones Jr was a great fighter, no question.

In my view his punch resistance is now gone. It happens.

    Probably he/she didn't.

If thrown at him now that same punch by Ruiz would send 2010 Jones straight to the grave.

This is exactly what I am saying... If his punch resistance was always as bad as it is now, reflexes or not he would have been knocked out before he was.

every great fighter in history has a plan B

ali, leonard, hagler, mayweather, ray robinson etc

roy jones had no plan B - admit it - no chin, no heart.

Dont know what happened to RJJ punch resistance but it was very decent just watch the first Montell Griffin fight. In truth the weak somewhat grazing shot to the temple that Green hit RJJ with hurt him badly and that is troubling.

You seem to forget Roy showed plenty of heart in Tarver I -- that is a WIN for Jones, however close you may believe it was. He pounded Tarver to the body all night and it paid dividends for him in rounds 11 and 12. And all that from a guy who was sucking for air in rd 1 of that fight.

Actually to drop back down from Heavyweight to regain the Light Heavyweight Championship in your very next fight is a great, great thing.

That win is still underrated because Jones looked human for the first time, but that was a great win.
