Questions for Floyd fans about the Pac/PEDs situation

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Crax Sellerman, Dec 26, 2009.

  1. Reportedly, Manny Pacquiao has already agreed to more than sufficient drug testing. He's agreed to unprecedented amounts of drug testing for a professional boxing match, to my knowledge - if you have evidence to the contrary, please provide it.

He doesn't want blood drawn close to a fight because he feels he won't be 100% on fight night if that happens.

    1. For a guy who consistently refuses to predict his own victories when asked directly, answering instead, "I will just do my best to put on a good fight for the fans," does it seem unreasonable that he doesn't want to go into what's expected to be the biggest bout in boxing history at any less than his absolute best?

    2. Why is NSAC testing suddenly inadequate? If it is, why aren't we, Floyd Mayweather and GBP clamoring for a complete overhaul of PED testing in boxing instead of just for this particular fight?

    3. Why is Pacquiao, of all people, being singled out and subjected to such intense scrutiny? Has he ever done anything to demonstrate that he may be on PEDs? Has he shown any physical/emotional signs or symptoms of PED use? Is something suspicious about a guy winning fights where he was heavily favored beforehand?

    4. Why is Richard Schaefer so adamant now about additional testing procedures when just a couple years ago he was completely against it when it involved a known PED user, Shane Mosley?

    5. After Pacquiao beat Oscar De La Hoya, Oscar said that Pacquiao didn't hurt him and that he could've let Pacquiao hit him in the face for 36 minutes and he wouldn't have been able to hurt him. Oscar also said before the Cotto fight that Pacquiao doesn't have enough power to knockout anybody in the Welterweight division. But 2 days ago, Oscar decided that Pacquiao's punches felt just like Fernando Vargas's, who he had previously blogged was the strongest fighter he ever faced. Did Pacquiao punch Oscar more recently than their 2008 fight? What could have caused this stunning development?

I've already brought all these questions up multiple times.
There are a lot of uneducated boxing fans on this forum who go with the flow and ride band wagons.
We have Floyd getting out of a mega fight, and he convinced half of these guys that it was Manny's fault.
Look at all the steroid jokes directed at Manny now. No evidence of him using them ever.
People are sheep. They need to be told what to think, even if it's by a guy like Floyd mayweather sr.

  6. Yea, I apologize if all of this has already been brought up, I was just trying to compile my thoughts. I'll probably be adding more questions as I think of them.

I'm just waiting for anybody to give me a legitimate answer to any of these questions. I haven't gotten them anywhere else. Just "rofl pacquiao shook and is obviously hiding somethin'" from Floyd fans.

    *****S has bricks for brains!

  8. That may be true, but certainly doesn't advance the discussion.

  9. Bump, with a new question. Are there no Floyd fans on ESB?

There are, but they have no idea how to handle confrontation.

I am a mayweather fan, only when he is in the ring.
I can't stand the way he ruins boxing and it's image.
He shouldn't be allowed to talk, he only incriminates himself and makes his fans feel/look like idiots.

  11. Are Floyd fans here incapable of simple logic and intelligent conversation?

  12. Only good for trolling I guess.

there are plenty of floyd fans and it is simple...manny will not take a test for WHATEVER reason that floyd wants him too to be 100% sure he is clean...he could take it...I am sure of that...he will be 100% for the fight since it is a teaspoon of blood....it sucks that it has come down to this but it has...and now instead of fighting him he wants to sue him...it is what it is...the fight prob will not take place...but at least manny can try to beat him in court

  14. I'm sorry, which question was that in response to?

He will take the tests, just not through Floyd's hand picked company.
You're treating this like pacquiao is a criminal with something to hide.
