I have been a fan of boxing since 1980s when I started boxing myself
there is nothing wrong with me . I just don't view women boxing as the same sport at all.
just a different perspective to yours
    fair enough

    thanks for answering the questions

MMA showed that female fighters could be marketable and extremely talented. Seranno Vs Taylor was an amazing fight.

I find your interpretation of my post to be odd and perhaps says more about you than me to honest but then again maybe I'm making assumptions about you on very little information just like you have with me based on one post.

Let me expand on what I said. When I watched the women's boxing in the Olympics, I was surprised that some of these women like Shields and Adams could actually box and didn't look unskilled novices like Martin and Ali. I didn't watch women's boxing because the skills and level of competition were simply not there to interest me. The Olympics gave the sport a platform, had they still sucked, I probably wouldn't watch it now, but it's clear to me the level in women's boxing is far higher than it was before during Martin and Ali's time, obviously nowhere near the men's.

Just because something is given a platform into the mainstream and people decide to embrace it when before they did not, doesn't mean people are not thinking for themselves, that's rather narrow minded.

It's alright, man. We already knew you were into being subjugated by the regime.

I rarely watch the match that they force on us as undercards. It’s the lack of fighters and the huge gap between the fighters. I also find the 2 minute rnd a joke. Take last weeks fight. A tittle fight that was 10 rnds at 2 minutes each. Equivalent to a men’s 6 rnd fight. Women’s boxing has no interest from the women themselves. Just look at the list of fighters. If it had more fighters and quality fights it would be worth watching. I dig woman MMA fights. Same rule as the male and the pool is very large.

I look at it the same way as I look at lower than Heavyweight weight classes. I love all boxing! As with the men, there are some fights I would pay for, and some I would not (but I'll watch them if they come on regular TV later). Marshall vs. Shields is an example of one I would pay to see live.

If you love boxing you wouldn’t say that about non-heavyweight weight classes. Ask any boxing nerd, Tyson or whoever, you see the sport of boxing at its best and most pure in the lighter divisions. Have you seen the video of Tank losing his mind over how good Inoue is? Boxing is a skilled sport, admittedly we have it good these days with Fury and Usyk but the skills and sport are mostly seen in the lighter weight divisions. Someone saying that they are a fan of heavyweights is usually the surest sign they aren’t much of a boxing fan.

weight divisions only exist to give small men a chance to win something
& provide extra fights for entertainment.
    but
if there is to be only one division & one champion of the sport it would be heavyweight

you might like to look at smaller boxers but sport is always about winning
& if you mixed it all up
    heavyweights will be winning

deep down no heavyweight champion wishes he was lightweight
but you can be sure many lightweight champion would have wished to grow up to be heavyweight

I used to think same as you
but now I think that is wrong way to think
heavyweights are simply better at the sport
& divisions gives small men a chance to win something
heavyweight champion can literally match & defeat all other boxers (ideally)
but lightweight champion is going to lose to hundreds of other boxers

being number 1 boxer of 112 pound is
like being tallest short man or prettiest ugly girl
    Lol

Do you really believe all the nonsense you have expressed in this post, or are you having us on?
