Of course Vitali is and was beatable. Peter indeed possesses "heart, chin, punch and desire", but Vitali has all the same attributes. I don't question that Peter can give Vitali a rough outing. Just how rough an outing it is depends on just how much Vitali has depreciated physically since 2004. If he is anything close, the attributes you mentioned will favor Vitali. If you have seen pics of Peter lately, you may find that "whale" and "doughnut" are actually pretty fair comparisons. Whether Peter has a better chin than the 3 is questionable given the McCline fight. But I personally regard Johnson to be more refined technically than Peter, Sanders has superior hand speed to Peter, and Williams may actually be the most similar to Peter overall. Whether you refer to Byrd or Lewis; Vitali lost both of those fights due to injury. I won't even begin to talk about what was going on inside of the ring before these fights were stopped. But suffice it to say that he did not lose either fight because he was an inferior fighter, just that his body failed him. And if you are comparing Peter to either of these champions, then you sir are the one who is wildly mistaken.
They BOTH have glass jaws. And the only reason Maskaev starched Rahman twice is he was able to land his money shot on Rahman's china chin before Rahman got him on his shaky whiskers. The key to spotting a china chinned fighter is observing what happens to them when they hit the canvas. Plenty of guys have gotten knocked down, even stopped - but when guys get laid out cold multiple times like these guys have, that's a glass jaw, pure and simple. :yep
...but how many men have knocked out each, out of how many fights...??? Not the greatest jaws by any measure, but not glass.
you just got owned joke. ANYONE who says either Rahman or Maskaev (who KOed Rahman TWICE) do not have Glass Jaws is CLUELESS.
So what? This isn't 2002 or 2003. Vitali is 37 years old and has been inactive for nearly four years. Most guys don't regain their form after such a long layoff, and I doubt it will happen this time. I tell you what, though - if I am wrong, I will consider this an extremely impressive accomplishment, one that, in my view, cements Vitali as perhaps the best HW of this decade, arguably second only to his brother.
Owned my ass...owned is what I do to you on a daily, sometimes hourly basis. You know nothing...this is how real posters discuss chins, btw you got a mention...:yep http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2583799&postcount=56
hey joke I told you that Zakman had an opinion and that I was correct. You better hope Peter does not get knocked down because if he does he will be on the latest list of..................................
A "glass jaw" at the world class level doesn't mean NO punch resistance, ala tomato can type fighters like Eric Crumble - it means poor punch resistance, such that WHEN a fighter loses, it's mostly by knock out, and WHEN they're stopped, it's usually for the count. Rahman and Maskaev not only meet that standard, they both exceed it significantly - far more than a guy like Wlad Klitschko, btw, who doesn't have a great chin, but has better punch resistance than these two.
Oh, that's something I needed help with...I didn't know Zak has an opinoin...wtf, you dip ****...???...what do you think he is posting all of the time...??? You are a joke poster, and a cheap imitation. Zakman is even on the record that you are more fanatical than he is. When not biting, or "fabing-a-stat," you merely throw insults. You are a testament to why one should not have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. ...correct..??? Zakman has been speaking on Rahman's chin long before you began imitating him...we have a disagreement, but that does not make you correct. He even conceded it's relative... ...yeah, that's a really frightening possibility.
The only standard they meet is your revised standard Glass Jaw means no punch resistance, it does not mean knocked out by 3 guys in 45 fights...
