Agreed, and it takes the same kind of person to appreciate Dirrell's masterclass over Stevens :yep

Wouldn't surprise me with the kind of money that the fighters got between them - I don't really blame him for that fight.

if you look at floyd decision making from the stand point of wanting what oscar de la hoya had... the love, the popularity, the money.... you could understand what he wanted from the other welters

    cotto>beat shane-beat margo-beat oscar = floyd
    margarito> beat cotto-beat shane = floyd
shane> beat cotto - beat margarito probably would have been enough to get floyd

paul probably never had a chance for the same reason shane wont fight paul which is the "he is to big" thing

The issue really has nothing to do with Oscar-Floyd. I mean I think everyone agreed with the idea of going up to take on the golden goose. The fight was shitty and Oscar really had no shot but hey, it made sense.

Compare that to Hatton vs Floyd. Okay, Hatton is the king of 140...but here Floyd is fighting him at 147 where he struggled mightily against Collazo. Again we could see WHY he was doing it but some of us didn't agree. Still he did what a P4P #1 did and rejected Hatton from the WW division with a beatdown post round 4.

Then he says he's going to retire. Okay, works for us. Take time off then come back and fight Cotto or Mosley or Margo or whomever happens to rule the WW roost at the time. INSTEAD word leaks out that he's talking about fighting Oscar AGAIN....that's when **** gets bad. Instead of saying "I'm coming back to fight a WW" he's talking about a meaningless money grab rematch. What the hell?

This doesn't even mention Floyd vs Hatton rematch rumors at 140.

It's a repeated pattern that people are pissed over...Some will hate for the sake of hating but let's look at this overall.

    Williams is Middle'ish, **** won't go down.
37/38 year old Mosley don't need to go after Williams.

being as Shane already owns a win against Will's best win.
(Kill the Winky' drama before it start's, I know Shane's history w/him)

Mosley don't/won't fear a wt drained Williams.

    1) Yes, he avoids challenges is not about fighting big names when you have a size/age advantage just because they are big names, it's about taking the harder fights for you and proving yourself. he knows this and always takes the easier fights.

    2) No.

    3) He is a regular guy, doesn't seem like a smart guy outside the ring , arrogant, childish, attention *****, he's not a villian he's just an idiot, there's nothing special about Floyd mayweather's personality but he's a great boxer.

I may be average but i don't need a KO or even a KD to be satisfied (i liked B-Hop-PAvlik). 99% found PBF_Baldomir boring. I like MAyweather as a fighter but that one was ****. And dont try to disrespect people who didn't like it with your noble or sweet science masterpiece world class showing of skills bull**** :tired. Thats a fight game.

    1) NO..why dislike a guy that you've never met in person?

    2) Sorta...slick style is overrated.

    3) I think he's more intelligent than people give him credit for. I would like to pick his brain and see how he is outside the ring compared to the 'badguy/thug' persona that he puts on. Everyone has a role to play and he plays the role to the T. People buy it hook line and sinker.

I personally don't care anymore. I lost the will to ***** about JMM/Floyd or anything like that. At the end of the day, It is what it is to quote Hopkins.
