    1. Your favourite fighter in boxing history?

Nobody has shown as much courage in the ring as Muhammad Ali. He was also unbelievably talented.

    2. Who in your opinion was the greatest fighter of all-time?

Sugar Ray Leonard. That era is my preference personally, and Leonard defeated all that challenged him in his prime. Incredible speed, underrated power, and his winning effort against Hagler is one of the greatest achievements in the ring.

    3. The greatest fight you ever seen in boxing history?

Pacman vs Marquez II. I thought it was that good.

    4. The most underrated fighter of all-time?

Ricardo Lopez. He went throughout his career undefeated, but is widely unknown amongst the mainstream.

    5. The most overrated fighter of all-time?

Sugar Ray Robinson. His record speaks for itself, but in terms of H2H, I pick the likes of Leonard and Hagler over him.

    6. The greatest defensive fighter of all-time?

Pernell Whitaker. He dodged punches and flurrys that nobody else could have done. Not even El Radar.

    7. The greatest offensive fighter of all-time?

Sugar Ray Leonard. Threw combinations with blinding speed, utilized the uppercut, and had underated power.

    8. The worst decision in boxing history?

Pacman vs Marquez II. Sorry to say.

Was that mine? I said i wasnt gunna comment on it!! You deliberately ignored that man!!!

    Kiddin' - i know you're a respectable poster so i'll do this.

Overrated imo, because people will have u believe the man was unbeatable, Archie Moore fans will then argue some crazy case about when actually his prime was. I t goes somethin' like, he was in his prime for a year, then he wasnt, then he was. I respect Archie so much because of his doggedness and determindness, a great man, a great fighter, one of the best ATGs 175 has ever had, but not the best, not the second or third GREATEST either imo, that is where i believe him to be overrated.

Maybe i went over the top by putting him as the most overrated ever, but i had one choice and just wanted to give an opinoin that, if i brought up without the freedom this thread allows, i would be given a loada unneccessary bulll**** most prob.

    1. Your favourite fighter in boxing history? Muhammad Ali. He was undoubtedly one of the greatest heavyweights ever to fight, but he transcended his sport, elevating the mentality of an entire people, turning athletes into mainstream superwealthy superstars, and continuing to inspire countless millions, including me throughout my life from the very first time I knew of him.

    2. Who in your opinion was the greatest fighter of all-time? Ali. He was destined to be contemporary to two towering challenges in Liston and Foreman and, instead of finding excuses, he took them on head on and overcame. He spoke about his greatness with unparalleled conviction and charm and the stats are right up there. He was not only preternaturally gifted physically, he had an equal ambition and intelligence for his sport, in addition to top ability to take punishment. He could improvise in the ring under the most trying circumstances. A man like this is is to me the greatest fighter of all time.

    3. The greatest fight you ever seen in boxing history? The Thrilla in Manila. This fight has the seal of greatness. Yes, two greats slightly over the hill, looking to cap a career and a personal duel, over 14 excruciating rounds, sparing nothing in that scorching environment, and a dramatic stoppage of an always ready Frazier.

    4. The most underrated fighter of all-time? Sam Langford.

    5. The most overrated fighter of all-time? Michael Grant. The hyped, supposed future of boxing folded like a cheap suit and never came back.

    6. The greatest defensive fighter of all-time? Willie Pep.

    7. The greatest offensive fighter of all-time? Mike Tyson.

    8. The worst decision in boxing history? Lewis-Holyfield I

Maybe Pep deserves to be #1, though you've seen more footage of the man in his prime than myself, though I plan on getting some soon.

As far as Whitaker, I consider him to be the most well-rounded of the great defensive fighters, but in terms of pure defense, you have to admire someone who can not only roll and deflect shots with precision while in the pocket, but completely slip them altogether, and against the likes of Cervantes. That takes some serious ring vision and reflexes. Guys like Whitaker, Benitez, and Pep are in his class yes, but in pure defensive terms, I'll take him as it is right now.
