I posted mine earlier. Now I'll list my surprises.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Marciano as favorite fighter.

No one has Roy Jones Jr. was the best ever.

No one mentioned Hagler vs. Hearns

No one has said that Mike McCallum is underated.

No one has said that Calzaghe is overrated.

No one has said that Calzaghe is underrated.

No one mentioned James Toney for defense.

No one has mentioned Leonard D Hearns.

I'm not saying any of these rate, or do not rate, as my 2nd choice(s). I just thought I would have seen them mentioned.

    1. Your favourite fighter in boxing history?

    Roberto Duran

    2. Who in your opinion [is] the greatest fighter of all-time?

    Ray Robinson

    3. The greatest fight you ever [saw] in boxing history?

    Gomez-Pintor

    4. The most underrated fighter of all-time?

Wes Mouzon. He's worse than underrated. He's a forgotten Philly fighter. He was 17 when Allie Stolz beat him over 10, but he knocked Leo Rodok down and out for his first ten fought. Wes was 17. He fought Ike Williams to a draw when he was 18 years old and then turned around and KO'd Bob Montgomery in 2 rounds in a nontitle bout when Bobcat was LW champion, and he had turned 19 just days before. He wasn't even fully grown yet.

Retired while still a teenage after suffering a detached retina in a KO loss in the title bout a few months after his biggest win. The day Holyfield beat Qawi over 15 to take the LHW title, he was in Qawi's corner. He also trained Roy Jones.

    "The Chocolate Blur"...

    5. The most overrated fighter of all-time?

"Let's face it guys, We've seen Leonard, Hearns, Duran, and Hagler, and Jones beats them all." ~ former HBO president, Seth Abraham.

Max Kellerman was calling out Robinson himself after Jones looked great as he usually did against Tony "gimme a break" Thornton or Vinnie "gimme a break" Paz.

Roy Jones, not the greatest fighter of all time, not even close, but according to far too many who should know better he is. Given this, I say he's the most overrated fighter I can think of.

    6. The greatest defensive fighter of all-time?

Pep. I've seen enough to convince me. His level of activity, the masterpieces he gave (Saddler II) after surviving a plane crash that should have killed him, he was one of the very few nonpareils I've seen. "You couldn't hit Willie on the ass with a handful of rice."

    7. The greatest offensive fighter of all-time?

The Ghost with the Hammer in his Hand.

Jimmy Wilde knew a secret: punching is all about timing. He was a student of offense and earned his Ph.D in punching when he stopped
Young Zulu Kid in 11 in 1916.

    8. The worst decision in boxing history?

Philly's undefeated speed demon Ty "the Fly" Everett's loss to Alfredo Escalara in 1976. After the fight Tyrone said "I made [Escalara] s*ck my d*ck". Even the Philadelphia judge voted against him.

whose to say charly burley was better than eddie booker, lloyd marshall, holman williams? I dont see how you can rank burley above these 3. lloyd marshall beat burley clearly, and burley twice lost to ezzard charles who lloyd marshall knocked out. On film, lloyd marshall reminds me of archie moore.

There's a natural size difference between Burley and them though, especialy Charles. Burley's best weight was 147, he was just ducked so much he had to take on the MWs

Tiger Jack Fox sure is chiselled isn't he. A great boxing physique, naturally formed by hard work and long training. A great boxing physique, naturally formed by hard work and long training -and no cheating short cuts.
