    1. must canelo make the 152 exactly before the fight?

    2. or is it weigh in 1 day before the fight and both have to make 152

props for floyd for taking canelo butstill 152 leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. floyd is more skilled and faster than canelo, a 152 version of floyd would surely still be favourite to win even against a 165 of canelo.

If it was 152 before the fight, Alvarez wouldn't have a chance in hell being that dehydrated.

    This one.

Just a normal weigh in, no rehydration clause or any of that nonsense...

I'd rather it be at 154, but I'd much rather have a catchweight than a rehydration clause for this fight.

It'd be shitty to be the guy who first started rehydration clauses, although with the fancy going on over the past few months about boxers' in-ring weights, I suspect a lot of folks on ESB would like to see rehydration clauses become a new norm... I couldn't disagree more.

so both must weigh 152 1 day before the fight at the normal weigh in friday night and after that canelo can regain weight and weigh his usual 160-170 in the ring?

Canelo should come in at 154 and pay a fine

What if the fine is $5 million per lb?

Ironically, Canelo came in overweight for a catchweight bout against Matthew Hatton.

at the end weigh in 152 or 154 wont matter, since at the moment of the fight canelo will weigh 169 and it will be interesting to see how the bigger more muscular canelo will push floyd around, if and thats a very big IF he catches him, because even so he was super boring floyd was super effective and super athletic against guerrero, but lets not forget canelo is on another level than a guerrero =)

Alvarez would be super screwd if they did a same day weigh in
