I have a few questions involving Pacquiao ... because there are some things that I have yet to see from Pacquiao on this incredible run _ 1. Can he make adjustments? 2. What is he going to do against a fighter who is going to lower the pace of the fight? 3. Can he take body punches? (he always seems to be in great shape, but he's shown that he can't take punches to the body _ Marquez could've stopped him if he wouldve kept consistant with his body attack) 4. Does he have any other weapons besides the left hand and the newly implemented right hook? 5. Who else is he going to fight should him and Mayweather fight? (he's not going to be successful at welterweight and thats really out of the questions against a full fledged welter_ there isn't any big names at 140 other than Hatton _ its really no point to keep fighting Marquez or going back down to 135)
1. Yep, Roach laid a plan from A to Z. 2. The lower the pace of the opponent, The easier Pac can utilize his speed. 3. He took tons of clean body punches from Ricky when they were clinching, even clean from the chin. And we just saw Pac not budging. 4. Everyone know he improves time to time, Uppercuts from Diaz, Superb in and out tactics from Hoya... Powerful Right Hook from Hatton.... Also he even got his 1punch KO back since 122lbs! 5. Mosley wants it and Freddie agreed to meet at 144, Arum wants Cotto and Freddie still agreed. The thing is Manny is the one who can make the terms now.
1. yes 2. hes gonna pick it up and attack like always. Nobody will slow down Pacquiao 3. Marquez stoping Pacquiao to the body?? Nah. 4.the whole arsenal 5. I only see Mayweather, JMM, and maybe Cotto. after that I dont know. but he could fight Mayweather 2 or even 3 times. so that will last a long time.
1 He's shown he can do this already 2 He showed this against JMM. Punch from long range and pick his spots to be accurate rather than sustaining a flow of punches all the time 3 Of all his possible opponents, only Cotto really has a strong body attack. No way he could take that imo 4 Pac has shown a full arsenal of punches by now 5 If not PBF, there's JMM 3, Valero, Soto, Nate, Bradley, Zab, etc. He got options
Yes he can make adjustments. He's a very smart fighter himself and you could see that by how he set up the Right hook with Hatton and how he set up most of his offense in the last 3 or 4 fights. PAC doesnt' let anyone dictate the pace of a fight....he sets the pace and it's up to his oppoents to adjust to the pace set by PAC. That is how it will probably always be. PAC took great shots to the body and yes he was hurt by a shot from JMM but he took it well and made adjustments to recover and take control of the rest of the fight. To say JMM could have KO'd PAC to the body if he were consistant is like saying PAC could have KO'd JMM to the body if he stayed consistant. It's worth **** and means nothing b/c bottom line its clearly speculation. PAC has all the weapsons in the book...he uses both hands with a lot of effect going to the head and body. He has a great Jab and the full array of offensive punches. THere are plenty of options for PAC. I agree that WW maybe a huge leap although he did have sucess against DLH, but he can't bang with the BIG boys.....I think Cotto, Shane, Berto ect are feasible fights that PAC can definitly win.....Shane being the hardest challenge of those 3 WW's.
Until he grows a third arm (don't rule anything out with this freak) then he's pretty much limited to the left and the right. Two hands seem to suffice for now!
