Questions to the Ward and Bute fans regarding the recent debates.

Did he use the not worthy excuse ?
Ward said about a guy who's been ranked #1, #2 and #3 for more than 4 years and never below, that he isn't worthy of fighting him. A guy with 10 title fights and 8 ko's in those fights.

 

You haven't asked two most important of all questions.
1 Why did Ward said Bute isn't worthy , instead of saying I'll fight Bute if he beats -what he considers A fighters- Froch/Kessler/Dirrell/Hopkins.
eg:
Bute fight will happen but only after....
Bute is in our plans but he has to...
It's quite possible to fight Bute in the near future but not next
Etc.
2 Why did Ward started to talk so fast about going in weight as an option, and why did he tried to make it so clear, when at 168 there are guys like Bute, Kessler, Dirrell. Who do you think Ward aimed for when he said that he will go for 1 fight at LHW? Pascal? He said he'll never fight Hopkins, Cloud is as much of a draw like he is, and Cleverly is not really worth the trouble. So....

When you think it is Ward pushing for Dirrell-Bute and not Froch... well, Ward hasn't faced let alone beaten Dirrell.

Bute hasn't earned the shot to the extent where he can demand it. But he is a worthy opponent.

Just like you may be worthy of working for Google, but that doesnt necessarily mean that you have earned it - in the sense that you can demand to be hired.

No, Ward hasn't met Dirrell, but he has met Kessler and Froch. Dirrell may be half a class below, but still in Ward's oppinion (and in mine) a stronger opponent than anyone Bute has met so far.

 

Bailey why don't you get involved in threads that don't indirectly involve Calzaghe you awful nuthugger. Anyone with a brain knows why you have a disliking for Ward and it's got nothing to do with Bute.

Ffs Ward could lose ten fights in a row in the future, maybe you could sleep at night then.

 

Then nobody else can 'demand it'. I guess Anthony Dirrell has earned it and can actually demand it... Ward is dissing the poor opposition Bute had had so far, and wants to reverse the roles to do what he condemned Bute for doing.

Bute in comparison with Dirrell, has a better resume and arguably just as much talent. In this case, Ward is assessing Dirrell as an A level fighter even if Dirrell has never beat one. Well guess what, you could do the same of Bute and say he's A level then.

We'll agree to say Ward doesn't want to face an A level fighter soon. He did call out Kessler, but the guy isn't available before Aug/Sep.

 

Kessler, AA and Froch are the 3 names which Ward can say he's beaten. Rest is nothing to be proud of.

 

I'm a Cobra fan and here's my take

1.Ward's route to the final was easy compared to Froch's - No discussion there.
2. Kessler and Dirrell. Actually don't think Dirrell has earned his shot (Andre) Kessler so we could find out if the harassment from Jokeland, really was taking its toll on Kessler
3.Well honestly Ward at that time, didn't deserve a shot at Kessler. Only because it was a tournament.
4.Yes and he already is
5.Yes they would, and i'll give them right. Then a Kessler / Froch rematch gives more sense then
6. Not in Canada or Jokeland. More like: MSG, MGM, Mandala bay or Boardwalk hall.
7. Because Ward is a smart guy, but sometimes when he open his mouth I'm like god dam is f*cking ******ed

 

1- Ward had his own tournament.

2- Kessler II , i guess .

3- maybe the right word is "fear" and not "not worthy"

4- maybe ; ( Dirrel fight )

5- definitely

6- I'm a Bute fan and this fight should take place in New York / Las Vegas !

7- Dirrel has better speed than Ward and is more talented.
