Quick Poll Ruiz or Hunter for 1st June

So he pulls Usyk from the main event and forces him to fight Joshua despite Uskys team not wanting that fight yet, Usyk not expressing any interest in that fight and with limited time to promote this big event? I think your idea of Eddie Hearns job role is completely inaccurate.

 

Hunter would certainly be my prefered choice.


- Father an ex boxer with wins over the likes Oliver Mccall and Pinklon Thomas.

- Trainer Hasim Rahman who caused one of the biggest upsets ever to become HW champion of the world.

- Was tipped by the late great Emmanuel Steward (Wlads and Lewis trainer) to become the next big thing and WC.

- Ex sparring partner of AJ, Wlad and Wilder.

- Hunter has a strong amateur background with wins over the likes of Andy Ruiz (the other fighter shortlisted to fight AJ) and Rivas (Whyte's next opponent).

- Schooled and stopped Bankole when "hardcore" boxing fans were claiming Bankole was a better prospect than Dubois and Gorman. Since then Bankole had impressive performance against Wach stopping quicker than anyone else has done.

- Hunter battered and bloodied the 6'7 280lbs Ustinov in his most recent fight. Hunter took on both Ustinov and Bankole fights on very short notice.

You left off "has more balls" than Usyk ... who has a stronger amateur background than Hunter, has won more heavyweight medals than Hunter, has won more world titles than Hunter, has beaten Hunter ... yet apparently is afraid to fight Joshua on June 1.

You must be the only boxing fan in the world who doesn't understand what late replacement is. Doesn't matter what you don't like about Hunter or Ruiz. They are excellent LATE replacement options.

And Usyk has his own fight/card lined up.

Either would do but i would have to favour Hunter as he is a DAZN fighter and PBC fighters seem to be getting held back from taking on Joshua. Either way im not overly excited about either of them but they have a gap to fill and fill quick so who ever they can get in there.

 

Hunter is a late replacement option.
He was not the original opponent for Joshua.

Try to keep up. Hearn Promotes the Usyk card and the Joshua card. Hunter is on the Usyk card. Both cards are days apart on the east coast.

Hearn is the guy who made the matchups. So he could shuffle them around.

Usyk's fight is made, he's the main event.
It's set, there's no shuffling, this is basic boxing knowledge.

Hunter is listed on the undercard with no opponent so he's in play to sub for Joshua.
It doesn't matter what you like or prefer.

Usyk's fight was scheduled for Chicago and got moved to Maryland like a week ago. Hearn moved the whole thing to another state.

Don't make stuff up. I asked a simple question. Which matchups would you prefer? You know the answer. You couldn't even be honest about it.
