Atmosphere was epic. Wasn't the outcome I was expecting, but it was interesting. I believe Wladimir took it 115-112-ish.

Bryant's effort is being over overlooked in a major way. He really gave it a shot. We could audibly hear him tell Wladimir "Good luck" prior to them touching gloves.

I didn't see CHEF David Williams anywhere.

I will. I'm posting from my phone currently, but it'll surely be dead before I get back to the hotel.

I hope you'll post an account of your experience on this thread when you get a chance. The live fight experience is a great thing and I urge anyone who hasn't taken the opportunity to try to get out to a big card any chance they get.

I was in Las Vegas for Wilder-Stiverne (my fourth fight live for a heavyweight title fight, the others being Tyson-Spinks, Holyfield-Cooper and Holy-Bean). I've also seen fighters like Azumah Nelson, Big George Foreman (the older version), Larry Holmes (ditto), Hector Camacho, Michael Nunn, Dwight Qawi (against Holyfield I) and many others.

I'd like to hear about your big night in the Garden.

Thank you! It's the first time I've been to a Klitschko fight. Planned to go to it as soon as he announced the venue/date as NYC/April.

Just got back myself, had a great time. The people sitting immediately around me were pretty neutral, and in my opinion rational about the scoring. Some pretty cool guys. Then there were the Ukranian and Philadelphia contingents chanting Klitschko and U.S.A. back and forth who were, shall we say, exuberant in their fandom. Ha ha. The garden has definitely been renovated since the last time I was there. You can buy Carnegie Deli sandwiches!

    FeldMunster, I totally agree.

And Wladimir did have a lively Ukrainian contingent.

Unfortunately, I will have to shut this phone off for the time being. Glad you had a good time as well. :good

The crowd was mostly Ukranians and Russians. It was very nationalistic at the beginning, but once the Wlad bore fest started the crowd was very quiet. They weren't there to see good boxing, they were there to see a Ukraine celebrity. Wlad is terrible for boxing.
