:huh when hopkins fought tarver was the ibo belt on the line? did they not recognize the bout? dont think it was there at the wright fight and does tarver still have it?
I think the IBO just give it to a chosen fighter. I have no idea where Lennox got it from, it just appeared.
If i recall when he fought Evander the 2nd time for some reason that belt was on the line. Dont even ask me why:roll:. Ironically though the IBO have the best ranking system based on points scoring according to activity wins and losses. After the WBO its the next belt with a small modicum of credibility.
Nobody actually fights FOR the IBO. The IBO just turn up and give their belt to the winner and boxers dont tend to turn them away. Who did Wlad beat for his IBO title?
