All points are on except don't ever degrade ggg down to rjj level, not Hagler. Hagler is at least a few levels before while rjj isn't even in the discussion . How was rjj fairing in his mid to late 30's???? Never mind the fact rjj never beat anyone remotely close to canelos level, never ever
GGG got into his stride too late in the rematch imo, he was breaking Canelo down later but it didn't make up for the rounds he lost. I think its 1 - 1 personally.
I was disappointed GGG did not move forward against Canelo in the 2nd fight. His corner's best advice would be move forward don't back up that type of fight falls into GGG's advantage. I did have 4 rounds to GGG 3 to Canelo and 5 legitimately could have been anybody's. Giving 4 of those 5 to Canelo shows you can't leave it to the scorecards any close rounds. I still thought GGG had the better of Canelo especially at the end
We have different opinions on ggg fighting style in the second fight. Imo he fought better and beat canelo clearer, but in Las Vegas boxing on the backfoot against canelo is just stupid cause that was he wont ever get the nod. As much as I like ggg and enjoy him fighting I have to say that it was his fault. He just sold his belts with open eyes. It was crystal clear they will rob him. But 30 mil is life changing money for his family and his grandkids. But it's still sad.
canelo boxed off the back foot in the first that's why he lost clear to me in the first that and all the jabs
By beating Jacobs who GGG beat, it isn`t unifying titles that`s important, it`s who you have to beat to get those titles, which other decades or years would Canelo have been undisputed 160 champ, I want to see him fight Smith.
Masterclass performance lol GGG got pushed back and beaten up by the smaller man. Delusion is a scary thing.
