DeMarco and Thompson aren't world level, and I'm not sure how dominating DeMarco for the entire match until he suffered a horrible unfortunate cut, which forced a stoppage, and then the Thompson match being stopped prematurely due to the same cut being opened up has to do with being at world level. It was an simply the case of an injury occurring in one fight and reoccurring in the next one. Linares is a world level elite talent as long as his paper skin doesn't act up.
