These guys could beat, or compete with the top names at 122 right now? Mares, Moreno (soon to be moving up), Nishioka, Donaire, Rigondeaux. . . Even a somewhat faded, but still dangerous Arce. . Vazquez Jr.? I really think they both look excellent, especially Frampton - he's got the speed, power, and skills. . . Rendell Munroe, and Kiko Marinez are class, but they're still a cut below the guys I mentioned. . . WHat do you think now? Obivously we'll know more after they fight Munroe, Martinez, and then hopefully each other. . . But just now. .
You think Frampton beats Kiko, and Quigg beats Rendell? Then, who you think wins H2H? I mean, after htey beat each other (if they get by Kiko, and Rendell), they've reached the pinnacle of domestic level. . . Maybe a few fights against other top-notch european super bantams, and then THE WORLD! Realistically, they're not more than a year, year point five away from tackling the world class guys like mares!
there both tuff to call but ill go for framton to win and quigg to win but quigg will struggle abit i think..frampton just needs to negate kikos power and he will win easy enough..thats easier said than done tho..
They are both still prospects & learning their trade, its too early to say how good they may become. Imo the best domestic prospect at 122lbs is Kid Galahad aka Barry Awad, a pure boxer from the Ingle gym [url]http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=509429&cat=boxer[/url] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDaSgTLTFTA[/ame]
Kid Galahad will flop Mo, there's not enough there mate. Frampton will go further than Quigg IMO, but needs another three years devlopment before we go looking at the world stage.
Not sure if youve seen this but here he is taking on a welterweight who barely lands a glove on him.. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHqy1bmp9Qo[/ame] Here's his most recent fight... Neither of them would beat any of the top guys at this point. Frampton has more potential to do so in the future IMO.
Agree with 2nd sentence but not the 1st, put some clothes on your argument I really like the kids style, fast & elusive with some lovely moves. I'm not a fan of the switch hitting but time will tell, he's got a good fight coming up in May against Josh Wale (who I think he will stand on his head) Quigg is far too easy to hit & I think Frampton will struggle with a moving target & against anyone who can take his power.
thats some goos **** will keep an eye on him..i agree with you about carl beating quigg..but hopefully carl has a plan b for someone who can deal with his power..nothing worse than a fighter who hasnt got a plan b..but after all hes still a baby in the pro game..:good
Frampton would beat Quigg but he's still far too green for any of them guys listed, by the time he's ready for a title there will be different champions to beat. Also not sold on Galahad, ive seen him fight live and I think he's more flash than substance.
