It's beyond terrible now. Any chance of fighting someone your own size who isn't borderline sparring partner material or shot to bits?

I had to laugh at the 'public poll' stating it was a 50/50 fight BEFORE Scott fought, and like 78/22 in CARL'S favour AFTER Scott HAD WON!:lol:

Frampton will toy with Scott of they met.

It'll be funny to see what kind of offer Eddie tries to make. Scott just doesn't bring in the numbers that Carl does...

    Frampton within 3/5, tops.

Tell Carl to stop ducking him and I'm sure they'll get it on.

"Scott just doesn't bring in the numbers that Carl does..."

Remind me of Carl's TV numbers whilst with Sky please?

Quigg stops Frampton late if he can survive the 1st half of the fight. I'm not to sure about Quigg's chin though. Quigg has a better engine and I expect him to outwork Frampton though and not because of last night but I've always been impressed with Quigg's work to the body and reckon this will be key in him winning.

Quigg has ZERO head movement. Zero lateral-movement. Zero speed of hand and foot.

He will be a sitting duck if he fought Carl.

It's that clear-cut and yet Barry declined the fight last time round and has been preparing all manner of excuses this time around too.

To be fair, Jamoye was brought in on late notice and before the fight took place, all things considered it wasn't a bad stand in.

Quigg took him apart with bodyshots.

I rate Quigg, he's a gym rat who's very dedicated to his craft and has a lot of talent. But if/when this fight takes place, Frampton is the one who has his hand raised for me.

Neither man is ducking the other - the management of both sides need to sit down and draft out a proper/fair deal. If both sides need to make certain sacrifices for the fight to come off, then so be it.

Frampton is the bigger name/draw & has a more "legit" claim to being a world champion, so you'd expect he'd be the one in the driving seat to take the bigger share.

Hearn & McGuigan MUST make this happen.

The pressure is firmly on Hearn to deliver Quigg a big fight whether its Frampton or not - he cannot get away with another Jamoye type opponent not on primetime sky sports anyway

    I agree.

Hearn just hasn't done a good job with Scott.

Serious question - How good is Scott Quigg?

He ha stwo obvious strengths -Physicality (size fitness etc) and is an excellent bodypuncher. Against an opponent who stands with him (Jamoye or Monroe) he can and does look very good indeed.
Then you look at the Salinas fight, where some questions were asked of him and he didnt impress that much.
So how good is he? Is he as good as he looked against Jamoye or as ordinary as he looked v Salinas?

Quigg is a bit like abetter version of Martin Murray, with body punching as his forte IMO.

Thing is though if Framps can keep him turning, spinning, not let him get his feet set to unload those body shots, and keep chipping away at him for the first 6-7 rounds.....
