Quigg brings all the money, yet Frampton won't accept 60/40?

Probably both Barry and Carl Frampton want an even split of the revenues generated. Good luck to them. They are the "A-side" of the event.

No surprise to see you backing Barry.

You once again highlight how cretinous you are. Why does Barry deserve an even split when he brings nothing to the table? He has no TV company backing him, no ability to finance the fight, nothing.

These were the views of over 100 people on here just over a month ago. Clearly everyone thinks Frampton deserves the bigger outright split. I would think 75/25 was fair when you consider world titles, draw, ticket sales, media presence, resume etc etc - it's not even close. It's a joke how Quigg is inline to make anywhere near 1.5m (which he will be) based on his resume and the fact that he has just faced a string of blown up bantamweights clinging on to that regular paper belt which was upgraded from an interim title without even fighting (he then went on to draw his first fight as regular champion).

Considering Carl is the real champion here (not the lineal, but still a full champion) and has to travel to the challengers back yard his outright purse should clearly be higher. I know Hearn and Sky obviously do bring the vast amount of money to the table so they would never accept 75/25 or 70/30, but Carl does need to be recognised as the 'A side' here so a 60/40 outright purse (not this winner stuff, incase there is a dodgy stoppage, decision, stopped on cuts etc) would be fair. It also needs to be known as Frampton vs Quigg with Carl coming out second as well.

Hearn mentioned 'ego' twice on a recent IFL interview, but it is his ego that is just as much a problem here IMO as he would be too arrogant to accept his fighter is B side in a 'super fight' he is promoting, which he clearly is.

Now i don't know if Team Frampton would accept a 60/40 outright purse, they should, but if they didn't then the fight would never get made, but no way should Scott Quigg be considered an equal player here.

    Hearn has Sky Box Office.

Carl has the real world title (as these things go), and is the "A-side" of it.

An even split is perfectly fair imo. And it's not just for "Barry" as Frampton will presumably be wanting what he sees as a fair slice of the pie.

Whereas Eddie Hearn can refuse to negotiate, refuse an even split, and accuse the other side of "ego"...

If he wants the fight, then just split the F**king money. It's not difficult.

And yes, Frampton easily deserves an even split of the cash when he is the bigger name and has the legit belt.

Cannot believe the numbers feeding the troll, btw frampton has always said he is a real world champion not the real world champion.

And quiggs promoter brings the money thanks to a TV deal, quigg can barely sell a couple thousand in his back yard (all those seats at the god awful 'glory road' show a while ago)

The normal champion-challenger split should apply. That's what? 80%+ to the champ? About that. Thanks.

frustrating ain't it? at least negotiations appear to be ongoing, unlike when quigg straight up ducked galahad.
