That's great to here. I like Frampton a lot, he has a fan friendly style and I expect him to beat Quigg when they fight. I don't think either man could beat Rigo though unless he decides to fight them in the pocket. Rigo is such a skilled fighter that he can just box either man from a distance and just make them look bad the entire fight. But if he decides to stand and trade, it could be really exciting to watch as his chin isn't the sturdiest.
The winner will relinquish the wba then. Simple. Rigo doesn't make business sense for either fighter. He's not enough of a draw to warrant the risk. My expectation is that, if this fight is a good one, we'll be seeing a rematch in the summer. Might even be at Croke Park who knows. There's just so more money for these two fighting each other than anybody else.
These "orders" from sanctioning bodies mean less than nothing. If Frampton wins and moves to 126...what are the WBA going to do? Nothing. If either Frampton or Quigg wanted to fight Rigo, they could have done it 2 years ago
This is the WBA we are talking about. So what belt is it for? Diamond? Super? , Gold ? Silver? Happy meal?
Finally these british boys are being pushed to the wall, time to stop pretending, ...., if they choose not to fight .... they should vacate and leave the top to young fighters with *b*a*l*l*s ...
