You don't have a stable full of World Champs if you're completely useless. Joe has the ability to get the most out of novice's, and fighters who aren't super skilled but physically fit and strong, and he should take credit for that. His methods work very well for some, but not so well for others, and yes his tactics have been questionable at times. I think this could be a good move for Quigg, he's totally dedicated to the game, and will grow as a fighter under Roach imo. Once Leo tells Frampton and co they ain't getting no trilogy, expect talk and plans for Frampton Quigg part 2 to begin.
It's no secret roach rates quigg he spoke so highly of him sparring people at WC he was in awe of quigg so it's no surprise he agreed. Quigg loved working with roach and I remember saying roach picked up on things he was doing wrong which impressed him.
we have a world champion in almost every division, more champs than any other nation. heres plenty of top coaches here. I think Brits are too negative. A lot of foreign boxing fans are always praising British boxing.
quigg is a top fighter imo who stuck to terrible tactics...he should have binned gallagher before the Frampton fight
