2nd question, did you see the fight? or have u just seen the result because i assure you he didnt struggle against Montiel

 

I can't get over how he never pulled John Murray out against Rios

 

I felt it was a close fight but Sturm edged it. Macklin was effective with his work to the body early on, but Sturm adjusted to it as the fight wore on and Macklin tired. Whilst Macklin was still the aggressor for most of the fight, it wasn't always as effective as some folk make out.

I had Macklin winning 115-114. Certainly no robbery though.

 

Yeah, there are close rounds in there that you could score for either man in my opinion. I wouldn't have called it a robbery had Macklin won by a couple of rounds even though I had Sturm up by a similar margin.

 

Sturm came back well in second half of fight, no robbery. Macklin's gameplan was good but he didn't carry it on long enough.

I had it a draw IIRC.

 

So would have seen that Montiel won 1 out of the 8 rounds.

Hardly a struggle was it? Thats my point
