Holy **** That's badly broken...he hid it really well...god damn. Surprised he wasn't bleeding out of the mouth badly. Meanwhile where is Kieth "Whiplash" Thurman? 6 weeks to recover LOL.
Wow that a nasty looking break, no wonder he was so cautious for so long and waiting until near the end to start fighting.
If true, and it certainly looks like it's true (not a torn rotator cuff or Big Toe phantom injury) then Quigg deserves a rematch.
Those rays suggest he shouldn't be able to even talk. I don't understand how it's humanly possibly to fight 7+ rounds like that. Mansour got his jaw broken and had to quit instantly. I really don't get it.
That looks like a really bad break. I had no idea there was anything wrong with it he hid it well. I was rooting for Frampton and I picked him to win but I do feel like Quigg could've and maybe even should've pulled it off. I don't think either of them were at their best last night though.
Quigg deserves a rematch Whether he'll get one is another matter. I think & hope Frampton gives him one. They'll sell out the arena again
Have to give him props for that, seen he had a broken jaw the next day, got to enjoy his quotes "I had to have round five off then just to see what the damage was like, if it was going to be painful when I got hit. Luckily it wasn't, it was just numb. It felt like I had been to the dentist's and had an injection." Quigg said: "He said to keep my chin up - I said I'd have to keep it straight first!
And never even went over. Unlike ppl like Andre Dirrell who pretend to be hit and never ever get back up.
The way he came on strong in the later rounds with a jaw broke like that is quite something that looks like a nasty brake that, I think he definitely deserves rematch.
Quigg should have come out guns blazing instead of a **** poor shell defense threatening continually to punch but doing jack ****. That's what you get for being overly cautious. Me thinks he has lost the right to complain.
