How exactly will Frampton stop him in 3? Eh... with his fist's?

Quigg doesn't hit hard enough to hurt Frampton and can't take a dig from Frampton.

This is a total mismatch. Frampton devastates Quigg early.

Nothing changes tonight Quigg beat a joke of an opponent let's see how he does with someone in the top 10 let's say Kiko for example. Frankly i think Frampton stops him in 9, Quigg doesn't throw unless he plants his feet Frampton will outbox and counter him on the backfoot.

How does Quigg win? Someone break it down.
    Power? Average
    Chin? (Ask Jamie Arthur)
    Fitness? Both gym rats
Quigg body shots? Kiko hits harder, went to body all night last week and Frampton still stood in 11/12 and traded, not going to work.
How can Quigg win, keys to victory?

The only thing Quigg has on his side is size , he is truely massive for the weight , but Frampton is way better in every other department.

We need to see the fight happen next but I just can't see it going down unless sky get there wallet out in a big, big way - Mcguigan can't stand Hearn and bazza wants to continue being the boss so negotiations will be hard work

Scott can move in and out of range perfectly when he's fully focused and has an opponent that demands he pay full attention. in the last few fights Scott has just come forward without caring about what comes back. he walks forward knowing he's the stronger fighter and just lets those big body shots go. he won't be able to be so careless with Frampton, nor will he be getting as many shots off downstairs either. he will have to be smart, switched on, and work for every shot he lands.

with Frampton's low hands, Scott could gradually bust him up and wear him down for the late stoppage, or the points win. so he's my pick.

Quigg also has a very good jab and straight right when he wants to use them. they'll play a big part in getting Quigg the win.

when it's all said and done, we'll see who deserved the fight or not. Quigg very much will prove beyond doubt that he did.

lets see if they can get it made though.

one of the biggest joys of the fight, if it gets made, will be to see what you have to say afterwards. :yep

Quigg doesn't hit hard enough to hurt Frampton??

    Quigg can't take a dig??

    Frampton will do it early??

i have the biggest smile on my face right now. hopefully we see each other on here after it's over. you won't be talking rubbish then. i promise. :good

Thats actually a pretty good analysis. You left out SIZE - Quigg is huge at 122. Dont forget though that its one thingfor Quigg to look good against smaller overmatched guys - Frampton-level oppponents wont make it so easy for him IMO. Frampton to win here. :bbb

I can't think of anything Quigg does better than Frampton so Frampton wins and by stoppage imo

Frampton landed a pretty sweet Body Shot to stop Parodi Frampton has the edge in power. Anyway at elite level body shots don't usually stop somebody, how often do you see elite fighters at a weight being stopped to the body?

Even if the final punch isnt to the body, dont rule out the contribution of bodywork. Its like money accumulating in the bank.....

Anyway How good is Quigg - thats what I want to know!

Overall, I think Frampton is the better fighter and in most departments just about has the edge, but if Quigg were to land a body punch on Frampton like he did to Jaymoye last night he will have Frampton in trouble. For me Quigg is the one that if the fight ends up being a tear up he comes out on top- boxing ability wise Frampton wins hands down but if it gets nasty Quigg wins for me!! A fight that has to be made either way and at this point not quite but near enough 50/50 for me, which makes for a potentially great match up!! :bbb

Hope it gets made. If Carl boxes to his ability, like vs Kiko - he should be able to prevent Scott getting his feet set to unload those body shots, IMO.
Meanwhile if Csrl chips away at Quigg he should beat him handily later on in the fight. ;)
