Frampton is a career SBW by his own admission. The idea weight is an issue is nonsense.

So why did he blame having to drop too much weight in his last fight? “I have to seriously consider whether to stay at this weight or go to featherweight. I had a lot of weight to take off during the last few days before the fight,” That's a direct quote.

He said subsequently that that was a heat-of-the-moment remark and that he should be able to make weight fine and that his struggles in Texas were due to miscalculations and the foreign location.

“I’m a career super-bantamweight if I want to be,” he said. “I just misjudges things a little bit [ahead of the Gonzalez Jr. fight]. I can make eight-stone, 10-pounds again if I have to – it’s a hard slog to do it, but I’ve done it so many times before.”

That was after a bit of reflection.

He just needs to worry that they don't use a soft canvass.

In which case, if he does the weight right, I pick him on points. I like Quigg, but my gut tells me Frampton.

Some goon over on CHB is offering EVENS on Quigg and wondering why no one is taking him up on it.

The only 'soft canvass' is between the ears of those backing Quigg. Easy nights work for Carl.

Then again Len probably considers it an all Irish clash.

Len thinks BJS is Irish because he is a pikey. Despite the fact he is for on Hertfordshire.
