HBO pay stupid money for a bore like Chad now. They didn't before. That might be why Hopkins wants it now. And it's a relatively simple defence for the old man.

 

Don't want to be a **** but to get Pascal/Hopkins II, HBO made both guys sign a contract saying the winner fights Dawson before the end of the year.

But Bernard never ducked him, it just never made sense.

 

HBO have told him to fight Dawson. They both won on the same night in a decider for the crown at light heavy. Where else could Hopkins go? He doesn't want Bute in Canada. People have wanted this fight for a long time. Hopkins does not have long left imo.

Pascal was on his way out before that headbutt. I think Dawson chin is solid. Pacal hurt Froch and Hopkins who have decent chins. I think Dawsons footwork will be so much better and combos will land at will. Hopkins has never been hard to hit. Only thing I would worry about is a headbut cut happening again.

 

I hate to say it but is it just me or is Roach lookin a lot worse lately?

Roach has looked this bad since the Pac Clottey fight. Hes an intelligent trainer but cant train fighters looking like that
