I've been told that Quigg is fighting Agbeko in the Clev-Bellew undercard.

What do you think about it? Is it possible?

Agbeko has lost 4 of his last 6 fights. His last one was an awful performance against Rigondeaux.

    :patsch

Agbeko is a good name on paper compared to Quiggs other opponents

but the lad hasnt looked good in 4 years and is almost 35

I want to say a prime motivated Joe is too far a step for the current Scott - but we're not looking at precisely a prime motivated Joe, are we? :think

Not the former to certain, and while the latter won't be salient until fight day the outlook using Rigondeaux vs. Agbeko for a guiding light is bleak.

The Agbeko from the Mares fight beats Quigg, but that version looks long gone.

Quigg's reign is beyond a joke. How can ANYONE defend this nonsense?

Fight the best or f*ck off.

just imagined there if Frampton came out with something like that as reason not to fight quigg, he would be a laughing stock

Mayweather says it and a million shoe shiners on this forum think his right

It's not a great 'world title' fight, but it's actually better than I expected so I'm not too fussed. Agbeko was very good a couple of years ago. Good enough to beat Quigg anyway. We'll see what he's got left!

Frampton and Santa Cruz won't fight him and rigondeaux is a big jump from the guys he's fought so I don't think it's a bad fight. Better than anyone frampton has fought bar Martinez

In the boxrec ratings Kid Galahad is 10 places higher than Agbeko, yet Quigg has turned this fight down. :yikes

@ Solaris - What are your thoughts on this fight?

ANOTHER fighter where Quigg is fighting a no-hoper! Will it EVER change?!?! It's actually mind-blowing how much of a terrible jobEddie Hearn is doing with Quigg. He is just regressing with each fight and throwing away his prime by fighting these stiffs.
