Quigg wants Rigo, claims he beat Frampton

Gallagher has spoken about Rigo for ages but they never went near him due to Quigg having his fake title.
Gallagher also spoke about George Groves as a potential Smith opponent.
Both these fights could be easily made but Hearn will give them easier matches to boost Gallagher's win percentage.

Can these two please, please, please just bore off? I am usually supportive of PPV because it's honestly not that much money for a night, but that particular fight took the biscuit. I got swayed by the buildup and feel like I've been chloroformed by Hearn. Terrible fight. **** weight division. BORE. OFF.

 

Have u got a descent link to this I read he said he would fancy his chances against rigo but didn't read anything about him saying he wants that fight next? I was always thinking donaire would be the next fight for quigg or wake of frampton dropped the ibf( although I think frampton will face wake)

He might as well go for the Rigo fight. Does nothing to dent his career if he loses at all, plus Rigo - as mentioned - is 36 now, he will slow at some point. Do I think that Quigg will win more than a couple of rounds? No, but it's boxing and you never know.

Swerve the Frampton rematch though, it isn't needed

I think he will fight rigo before frampton does but I think to fight him next is a bad move. I can understand how he thinks the frampton fight was close and also there is no shame to lose to rigo but to lose 2 on the bounce is never good. He would be better off fighting donaire and then rigo. He needs a couple more top level fights before taking on rigo

Quigg went in with one of the worst game plans I think ive ever seen.

I think its a bit of a myth that Frampton schooled him though, to be honest I don't think Frampton could believe his luck that he only had to fight at about 15% for the first 7 rounds.

I had Frampton to beat him before they fought and I still do now, I just don't think theres that much between them

 

Anyone who thinks Frampton schooled him knows nothing about boxing.

Frampton spent the first six rounds hitting Quigg's arms whilst Quigg held a tight guard and did absolutely nothing in return.

The rounds Quigg won were far more convincing than the rounds Frampton won.
