Quigg wants Rigo, claims he beat Frampton

Amagasa who looked rather average against Warrington dropped Rigondeux, it might be the right fight at the right time.

Rigondeux is heading towards 36 years old and hasn't fought since last November.

Don't get me wrong Rigondeux is a very special talent but he does look a little suspect around the chops here and there and Quigg can dig.

Here in the UK I think Quigg would be a live underdog if that happened right now.

your right and rigo looked like **** against that last journeyman he faced. he is an inactive 36 year old bantemweight who relies on speed and reflexes and is quiet possibly chinny, this doesnt seem to scream longivity

Quigg wouldn't fight the genuine WBA champ when he was on a roll - instead he boxed Silva, Munyai, Jamoye and Otake whilst him and Gallagher kept claiming he'd fight Rigo after the "next" fight. This Quigg interview is the same BS we've heard before - no way he fights Rigo in September.

 

Quigg was holding out for the big money match v Frampton. This is common knowledge, was hoping that the winner would fight Rigo but there seems to be some yellow in said fighters back.

 

Why ?

I'd favour Rigo to beat Quigg by decision, and could do quite comfortably, Quigg ain't out boxing Rigo.

What could make it interesting is Rigo's tendency to start slow, and to drop his guard and get sloppy when he gets too comfortable.

Quigg has legit power, and could put Rigo's lights out if Rigo got careless.

 

Quiggs not a former champion, he has yet to win a title.

What he is, is someone who has found he cant afford his mortgage plans on what hes so far duped his fellow Mancs out of, so hes started making noise again. And ridiculous claims as if to warrant those noises.

Scott, go set your sites on the European title, lets see if you can manage that before telling us you can step up to world or elite.
