Well he lost the first round IMO, Second was his and he started the third well but i think Quigg was getting a tad carried away. He boxed well, showed some excellent pivoting in the pocket which he hadn't displayed before. But round one he took some uppercuts and few others shots. Munroe was easing into contest, Lot's of if's and but's really. I think way Quigg spoke at the end he may want to win Lonsdale outright and move on.
i thought Quigg look decent enough in what we saw. but **** me you'd swear he had battered Rendall for 12 rounds only to be robbed of a victory by some technicality. Get a grip, it was 1 round a piece, and your heads clashed, thats it. i think Quigg is a nice kid and all, but he's certainly not the sharpest tool in the shed is he
the binman deserves a little more respect the way people are going on you would think Scott got ambushed if the truth be known all their fighters have come unstuck at the last hurdle recently when we were led to believe it was a for gone conclusion, no disrespect lads but just take it easy, Munroe is a tough cookie
Munroe won the first round as he tried a few shots out on Quigg, he then then held back and had a look at him in the second round and then started the third well before the head clash. Munroe would have pulled away after 5 rounds and won on points.
I thought Quigg was looking nervous in the 1st which Munroe obviously took. Then on the flip side the second Quigg looked relaxed and landed the best shots of what there was of a fight. Again imo I thought Quigg was having the better of the 3rd and I think I would win if they fought again. But as I said just my opinion but I have the feeling Quigg would have gone on to win. Although after 3rds......
This interview is almost commical , the fight lasted 2 full rounds and was waved off in 3 , and he drew all that information from them 8 minutes , dear me !!!
