Why are you leaping to Quiggs defence? Theres no need to. No-one is attacking him. Anyone with sense fully acknowledges that Quigg is bloody good, and a real threat to any superbantam. I doubt Rigo, LSC or Frampton would take him anything other than very very seriously. They would be foolish not to.
I like Quigg and respect him for being such a dedicated fighter, he literally epitomizes the word gym rat. But his resume at this moment in time doesn't match his talent. Hearn needs to deliver him bigger fights. Fingers crossed the one we all want to see gets delivered.
As a huge fan of the Japanese scene...I do need to question how "good" a win over Otake really is...A bit like Suyon Takayama right now, and Teiru Kino****a last year, he wass a weak national champion.
So true, the gap is pretty big. A couple of weeks ago someone had put up a compared average ranking of their last 8 or so opponents, wich was pretty damning towards Quigg.
The only part of you that's as fit as Quigg is your fingers from typing posts! Resumes aren't everything. They don't always tell the full story. Carl will be taking Scott seriously if they meet....:thumbsup
