Quiggs management really blew it.

I think Hearn is looking at the wider picture with Scott. Look at his other World Champions Kell wont fight again this year. Froch its all up in the air. The focus now should be on getting Quigg a good fight and a really hard test of a fight. Quigg v Frampton would sell out anywhere a lot of Irish fans will travel anywhere for that fight. I will be more interested in were Carl goes next with TV he is in the driving place to get himself a good deal with either Sky or Boxnation. I wonder if Sky do a deal like they did for Groves for Frampton. Or I could see Carl going to the US and fighting there and getting on a big card the Leo Santa Cruz fight if it gets made will be on in the US it could well be a big Vegas fight. So for Carl and his team now as he is champion its about getting him his next big fight. I wouldnt be shocked to see Carl team up with either Top Rank or Golden Boy in the US for fights over there if the money is right.

 

Well pre Saturday Framptons offers were bs,he came out saying he wants Quigg anytime,anywhere (again). He said this before yet rejected Eddies offer and Barry didn't make a legit one either,we will see what happens.

Except he didn't need Quigg to sell out a 16k arena did he? Big fights at SBW for Frampton LSC, Galahad, Mares, Avolas, Rigondeaux. all fights that make him plenty of money and very good wins outside of Quigg.

 

How many of those are 'home' fights? Galahad? Avolas?

A few points, firstly Frampton was tied to BN and Hearn has made it pretty clear the fight can only happen on Sky, Frampton was aiming to win a legit world title so of course was going to fight KiKo, Frampton now has even more bargaining power over Quigg so can demand even more money for a potential fight, Hearns offers were ****. There was no point in making an offer for a fight they knew was never going to be made until Carl was off BN it really isn't hard to understand Hearn made offers when he knew the fight couldn't happen. Look at Gallagher the other day Frampton needs to leave McGuigan for teh fight to happen, also criticizing him because it looks like he'll fight Avolas next didn't mention of course that it's a mando for Frampton so he has no choice. Eddie Hearn has never made an offer to Carl Frampton when the fight could happen nor have any of his offers been fair to Frampton. Maybe Barry didn't offer anything because he knew it would mean sweet **** all and in reality all the so called offers from Hearn is just bluster and trying to act the big man, let's see what offers Eddie sends after Avalos when for once the fight can be made.
