You can say that people only say cazarez was past it because of what frampton did to him but he is old. However frampton fans say munroe was past it when quigg beat him and munroe had hardly taken a hiding. He had only lost to the jap and he didn't get badly hurt. Again it's pot calling the kettle. As for salinas he was mandatory and had quite a bit of backing in America. Maybe he was weight drained last week going down to bantam. Maybe he took the fight lightly. I'd be interested to see if he was winning until the knock down. Maybe however he isn't that good. When quigg and frampton start having the big fights over the next 12 months I'm sure we will find out

So when frampton beat cazarez he was awesome and frampton beat that awesomeness out of him. However munroe puts in a good account against a proven jap world champ, then goes on to fight quigg but because quigg did a good job all of a sudden munroe was finished? You have double standards. It's the exact same scenario apart from the fact that cazares is 100 years old and 7 stone. By the way munroe was never that good just for the record he just used his assets well, he wasn't a good boxer and anyone half descent should have done what quigg did to him

 

The Irish on here are embarrassing when it comes to talking about their boxers.

Edit: Not that Frampton is an Irish boxer anyway, he's British.

 

What recent events he flattened munyai? So after fighting the jap your assuming he had declined with no real evidence than quigg beating him? He went from being a competitive fringe world level fighter to a journeyman in 1 fight?

Munroe has fought selby since then and retired after quigg beat him then come back. I'm not saying munroe isn't finished now but god forbid it was quigg who beat the fight out of him.We dismiss the munyai fight then do we can't give him any credit there he was finished too unlike cazarez who had just come off back to back wins over rigo and Santa Cruz.
