Ah, but the wording implied Mcgirt was the cause, hence the curse...

Yeah, if I was going to list all of the fighters trained under McGirt who lost this year it would take me quite a while.

Yeah, but if he listed all of the fighters effected by the curse of McGirt, he'd be typing all night.

Who knows? Maybe McGirt cursed them too. Maybe he had brief conversations with Oliver, Lee, and Williams where he gave them a tip for the future or a compliment. His curse could extend to fighters who he has had any interactions with, period. :scaredas:

 Yeah, that was too easy.

If you can't stop D. Miranda, you are not going to be world-class. Period.

Quinlan's gonna get starched as soon as he faces a live body. Hell, he almost got KOd by this limited regional fighter.

Quillin is from Grand Rapids, Michigan of course --

I seen an article about him Friday (the day of the fight) and it had stated something that I opened my eyes to Quillin.

He's only had 15 amateur fights so he's not that schooled, but he's getting on the job training as far as his pro career goes.

He looked very good against Miranda and has quite a ways to go before he's to be taken serious as a prospect. He's only 24 with nice step up in class.

His biggest problem was not taking his time ... at times he would rush in on Miranda instead of jabbing his way in ... he would lead with the left hook which is a big no no ... he also isn't active enough on the inside ... if he wouldve mixed it up with Miranda on the inside, ,threw some body punches with the left (which was open all night) he wouldve been able to wear Miranda down and get him out of there.

That was only his second time going the distance and i'm sure him and his team are going to go to the gym and work on some things.

I'm sure once he learns how to pace himself, use his athleticism, and keep his work rate up ... he should be fine.

He also didn't do to well of holding by damn did his chin hold up ...

I think he would need a top notch trainer to take him to that next level
    .

Quillin is going to be world class as long as he's guided along very slow ... sorta like JC jr is ...

He's only 24 ... he's limited in the amateurs so I figure around 30-35 fights he should be ready to challenge for a title.

He's getting better every fight he has and he's learning to pace himself and go the distance ... before he was in with some stiffs and was knocking guys out - now he's going up against more solid guys and finding himself going the distance more.

Miranda might have not been good but he did have power and he did give "Kid Chocolate" some things to work on when he steps back into the gym.
