Quillin chasing money instead of Belts & top names... Simply ducking Golovkin

    I remember watching a Golovkin and Abel Sanchez interview a few years ago (I'm almost certain it was around the time of the Macklin fight) and a very telling and revealing wry smiled simultaneously crossed their lips when a reporter posed them a question about how the sparring sessions with Quillin went and would they be interested in fighting him. What went down during those sessions is the reason why Quillin wants no part of Golovkin, IMO.

    I honestly don't think Quillen would have beaten Korobov. Just look at the punishment Andy had to absorb to land that beautiful hook. There are maybe a handful of guys with the focus, confidence and patience to wait and grab an opportunity like that... when it presents itself...against a superior boxer.

    Quillin chasing money? since when? :blood

    Last time I checked he passed on a payday that was very close to the total sum of his 5 biggest paydays combined! Vacated his belt (his ticket to money) and hasn't fought in the remainder of the year to get paid at all.
    Seems like Quillin hates 2 things; money and strong opposition.
