Yes it's been a year of upsets, but this might be the last time we see Antwun outside of the Midwest circuit.

What are we thinking about this one?

Quillin is from Grand Rapids, MI ... there's no way he loses to Echols ... he knocks him out in 5.

Echols has poor balance and terrible boxing skills ... he has power, but i'm somewhat convinced that his power has diminished over the years.

There's no way that Echols beats a highly touted prospect out of Grand Rapids, now fighting out of NY.

Careful now. There are plenty of ways. The question is if Quillin will be silly enough to fall for them.

But Echols' legs are ****ing GONE.

Echols came into the boxing gym I go to about 3 times last two weeks in milwaukee wisconsin to spar with our young talented 17 year old cuban prospect. It was pretty sweet seeing an old pro go at it like that. The cuban was just too young too quick and skilled for Echols, But it was humbling to see a pro fighter with the chin that hes got, Echols was there sparing guy after guy taking shots straight to the chin...these pro guys are made out of different material!

Yes ... Echols has a good chin ... but his balance is terribe and against a young, fast, strong fighter like Quillen will use that to his advantage.

Antwun has all kinds of heart. But you need more than that to stay competitive with a guy who has 14 KOs in 17 fights. I didn't like how he was responding to punches at all in his last night out. A month and a half is also a quick turnaround for a guy his age, plus sparring and all that.

I'm not making a case for Echols, if anything I'm just letting you know the guy is at the end of his career. He honestly is in bad shape health wise let me just leave it at that.

Echols is at the stage of his career where he is really starting to take punishment. He was catching some hard blows in the Walker fight, and like Apollo said, he didn't react well to those punches.

Wow, I just looked it up and I see that Echols hasn't won a fight since 2004. I hadn't realized it had been that long.

Antwun was a good pro and a brutal ko puncher in his prime, but his time has passed. I hope someone close to him can enlighten him on this subject.

Antwun is fighting only for the money. The guy has great heart, but his days are over. The man is not afraid of anyone. Hopkins said he was the hardest puncher he has ever faced. Unfortunatly, he has not had anyone look out for him and will eventually be back on the street with his boys in Davenport. He has been shot there twice in the past 4 years. I hope he can get his life turned around.
