At this point he's basically like "I know I'll get destroyed, I just want to get paid enough for that"

Translation: "I know I'm gonna get my ass kicked in a career-ending KO defeat, so I'm gonna pass on Golovkin."

He was offered comparable money against Korobov. If he wasn't interested in fighting that guy, he certainly wasn't going to fight Golovkin.

I have no problem with fighters being honest like this. It is so rare it hardly ever happens. Props to Quillin for being honest

Quillin has never been contractually tied to SHO like GGG has to HBO, there is a big difference.

As a fighter who was not even a headliner, let alone a draw... Quillin was clearly the B-side of the equation. If Quillin had taken and won the fight, he would have instantly been elevated to headlining fighter.

Haymon/SHO would have been risking an undercard guy, for possibility of gaining a genuine attraction. If they thought they had any reasonable chance of winning they would have taken it on HBO.

I guess in his world anything short of praise equals disrespect. You should feel fortunate he did not try and get you charged with hate speech.

Don't hate on Quillin cause that's the same thing GGG said about fighting Ward. He said he would move up to 168 to fight JC Jr. but not Ward because Ward wasn't a big PPV draw. Same doo doo.

Difference is both are in the same weight class and were champions in the aforementioned weight class. It is logical to assume they should fight each other.

I had stopped paying attention to Quillin a while ago. This just solidifies my position on him

Not remotely the same and I doubt you'd comprehend the differences if some poor soul wasted the time to try and explain it.

It's exactly the same, look it up on esb. Quillin said GGG is high risk low reward, the same thing GGG said about Ward. It is what it is.
